Interviews are held twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. 8:30 a.m.
Introduction with education coordinator, residents (continental breakfast will be served) 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Interviews with two faculty and one resident
Slideshow 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Hospital/Family Care Center tour 12:15 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Lunch with residents (Monday) or Noon conference (Friday) 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Group meeting with department chair 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Driving tour of Providence (optional) Applicants also have the option of spending time with preceptors in the Family Care Center following scheduled interview activities.
Get a taste of Providence
Every Sunday and Thursday night during interview season, our residents host dinners for applicants at Providence restaurants or in a resident’s home. This experience provides an opportunity to get to know the residents and the city. The residency secretary will provide details for your interview date. Applicants should meet residents in the hospital lobby at 6:00 p.m. the night before your interview.
