Welcome to the Brown Family Medicine Residency Program
Welcome to the Brown Family Medicine Residency at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island!
As one of the oldest family medicine residency programs in the country, continuously accredited by the ACGME since 1975, we blend a long tradition of excellence in residency training with the evidence-based innovations in education.
Combining a community-based program with a strong university affiliation provides rigorous family medicine education in a culture that nurtures primary care and values service to the underserved. We prepare graduates to provide full-spectrum family medicine, transform medical practices into Patient-Centered Medical homes, address health disparities, and develop new knowledge and skills throughout their careers.
Faculty, staff and residents work side-by-side to optimize our mission-driven training program, building strong, lasting relationships in the process. We invite you to explore our web site and learn more about our community.
