Welcome to the Brown Family Medicine Residency Program
Welcome to the Brown Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island! As one of the oldest Family Medicine residency programs in the country, continuously accredited by the ACGME since 1975, we enthusiastically meld our long tradition of excellence in residency training with innovative educational programs that are responsive to the needs of today’s Family Medicine resident. The balance we achieve as a community based program with a strong university affiliation produces versatile, highly skilled graduates, prepared to practice in any setting of their choosing. Faculty and residents work side-by-side to optimize our mission-driven training program, building strong, lasting relationships in the process. We invite you to explore our web site and learn more about our learning community.
