Dr. George graduated from the Brown Family Medicine residency in 2008, after which he joined a health center, while continuing his involvement in academic medicine, teaching in the required six-week clerkship at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He became the assistant clerkship director in 2010. He also serves as the director for the Integrated Medical Sciences Curriculum Year II at the Alpert Medical School and as co-course director for Epidemiology. He is a member of the curriculum committee at the medical school. Dr. George's research interests include medical education, interprofessional education and assessment.
In the family medicine residency, Paul precepts at the Family Care Center and co-leads journal club. His research interests include medical student evaluation, evidence based medicine and electronic resources in medical education. Paul is married to Joanne, also a family physician, and is the proud father of Paul Joseph (PJ) and Benjamin.
