Kim Salloway Rickler, M.S.W., L.I.C.S.W.

Ms. Rickler joined the department in 1996, and is a member of the Behavioral Science faculty. She is a Family Care Center preceptor and a consultant for the geriatric assessment program. She teaches Family Medicine residents about psychosocial evaluation and treatment and orients them to community resources. Mrs. Rickler co-leads a weekly resident Balint Group and teaches medical interviewing to Brown first-year medical students and co-leads a Brown Medical Student Balint group. Mrs. Rickler participates in the interdisciplinary team group medical visit program for patients and their families with diagnoses of diabetes and cancer. She has extensive experience as a clinician providing individual, family and group psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Mrs. Rickler has taught in the Hematology/Oncology departments at Yale New Haven Hospital, New England Medical Center, and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation.
