We accept applications from allopathic and osteopathic candidates through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) for 13 PGY-1 postions. Interviews take place October through January on Mondays and Fridays. You will find additional details on application requirements and the interview day below.

We have a strong history of matching couples into our program. As an academic family medicine program based in a community hospital in Pawtucket, RI, we are neighbors to a large academic research hospital with over 20 residency programs in Providence, RI. This proximity is appealing for many couples. Please let us know if you have any questions about our history of matching couples.
Requirements for International Medical Graduates:
Applicants who completed medical school outside of the U.S. may be considered if the following requirements are met:
- Passed steps 1 and 2 by second try with a score >200.
- Had a meaningful clinical direct patient care experience of at least 2 months in the U.S. health care industry during the past 2 years, with two reference letters.
- Eligible for ECFMG certification.
